'Hope for Haiti': Sheryl Crow sings 'Lean on Me,' Jennifer Hudson does 'Let It Be'
The "Hope for Haiti Now" performances brought out a new depth in its musical stars.
In particular, Sheryl Crow, Kid Rock and Keith Urban formed a trio to sing a heartfelt version of "Lean on Me" during Friday night's (Jan. 22) telethon.
All three had their guitars handy and kept the singing simple and effective.
Check out their performance.
Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson also moved the viewers with her take on the Beatles' "Let It Be."
These were just some of our favorite performances of the evening, along with the Justin Timberlake/Matt Morris cover of "Hallelujah" and John Legend's performance. All are available on iTunes.

Professionals to volunteers all do their share. With sniffing dogs, all searching with care.Only when found or accounted under mounds of destruction. Reconstruction teams design prepare plans to rebuild. Skilled workers, researchers, teachers, volunteers relax take a rest no regrets EMT's do their best. Faith hope and love never disappear neither tears. What is Lumahai? Where is Bali Hai? Kauai is a designer volcanic molten hardened rock, black, thick and sharp. Part of an island chain in the Pacific. Miles apart from this horrific 7.0 Earthquake hits Haiti busts it apart we are awed by the destruction, torn apart in shock, in despair we are miles apart. The Army, Navy, Air force and the Marines gather many, many supplies that everyone needs. Hunting day and night is anyone else still alive? Family, friends are gathered near we find comfort crying real tears. Volunteers can now rest relax with no regrets EMT's do their best. Faith, hope and love never disappear. The transportation department filled their compartments. Medical relief staffed all their departments organized they fly in jets. All this goes on night and day as we surf the net. Information makes everything clear our faith hope and love never disappears. Victims are now in a place where war hunger and disease will cease. May they be cherished by their loved ones forever in continuum and perpetual peace. Faith, hope and love never disappears neither our faces at times filled with tears.
