Hollywood kicks off Grammy weekend with Jimmy Kimmel and Robin Thicke

The city of Hollywood kicked off Grammy weekend Friday morning at the grand opening of The "W" Hotel's newest location -- Hollywood and Vine -- where recording artist Robin Thicke performed and Jimmy Kimmel hosted.

The late night star who created quite a stir Thursday evening, calling Jay Leno a "tattle tale" for his comments on "Oprah" this week, didn't mention the controversy while MCing the ceremony. He did, however, give a warm welcome to Thicke and thank everyone for coming out.
