David Hasselhoff leaving 'America's Got Talent'

The Hoff is off of "America's Got Talent."David Hasselhoff, who's been a judge on NBC's summer series for all four of its seasons, says he's moving on to do a TV project of his own.
"I am proud that I was part of making 'America's Got Talent' the No. 1 rated show for the past four summers," Hasselhoff says in a statement to People. "It's been a rewarding experience and now I'm thrilled to be able to follow my dream to do my own TV show, which will be announced very shortly."
(Or another of his own TV shows. He created the "Baywatch" spinoff "Baywatch Nights" and was an executive producer of the original for much of its run.)
Piers Morgan and Sharon Osbourne are expected to return to "AGT" next summer; NBC will embark on a search to find Hasselhoff's replacement in the coming weeks.
"David's been an integral part of the success of 'America's Got Talent' and we are sad to see him go," NBC says in a statement. "We wish him all the best with his new show."

No big loss here. Visibly drunk individuals shouldn't be allowed on national TV shows. I like the idea of Brandy being a judge. The girl's got talent.

Eh NBC basically copied the stuff Fox wrote when paula quit. They just replaced the names basically!
I hope to see Paula replace him! And about her not doing much at the moment... Thats true, but ever heard of American X factor :) Simons new show... that a lot of us think she will be part of. Unfortunatily it wont come until 2011.
PAULA SHOULD REPLACE HIM. Then I will actually watch it. I love watching her. And she is way more popular that him, she has a huge fan base and millions fans on Twitter etc.

Come on guys, play nice, the guy has a disease. I am personally sad to see Hoff leave the show. He was the reason i started watching it in the first place. I vote for NPH to replace him! he has humour, charm and could draw a lot of viewers.
