Conan O'Brien is Zap2it readers' favorite late night host

The people have spoken at Zap2it -- Conan O'Brien wins the coveted Zap2it title of Favorite Late Night Host.After +2600 votes were cast, Conan O'Brien won with 21% of the votes. As of Jan. 13 at 8:25 am PT, he has a slim 30-vote lead over second-place host Craig Ferguson.
Coming in third with 15% of the vote is David Letterman and rounding out the top five are Jon Stewart with 13% and Jay Leno with 11%. Stephen Colbert and Chelsea Handler in the 6th and 7th spots each reached triple digits in the voting, but after those two there is a considerable drop.
Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon and George Lopez all managed to get at least 30 votes, while poor Carson Daly got six votes for last place.
In the write-ins, there were a few votes from the non-readers out there that were cast for Chelsea Handler, Carson Daly and George Lopez. There were also votes for Greg Gutfeld, Larry Sanders and Jonathon Ross (sic).
We sincerely hope the person who voted for Larry Sanders realizes that Sanders is fictional.

Sorry I voted for Jay. I just don't find Conan at all funny. I feel badly for him, but Jay is by far better (as the ratings during the tenure at "TTS" prove ... Jay almost always beat Dave and Conan almost always lost to Dave).
So 79% of readers do not think Conan is the favorite? I wouldn't consider that a Conan win by any means...

Absolutely no doubt this was a sympathy vote result. There is NO one better than Craig Ferguson. Not only is his opening fabulous, he can make a crap guest look as good as the real pro's during his interviews.

I agree with comedy lover that everything he does he make seem exciting because most of his guest are no names, but he makes me want to watch them more and see their shows.Craig is by far the best host and a good person at that.
Craig Ferguson is awesome! He's the only person that can make me laugh on late night tv. He's so talented-- smart, funny, irreverent, a wonderful writer, musician, puppeteer, and... he's REAL. He will tell you exactly how he feels and what he thinks. Oh yeah, and he's European! He makes it a great day for America every day.Who could ask for anything more?
But Leno is still King of Late Night with two decades of ratings to prove it.
Conan still failed at 11:30.
Craig is better than Conan, although they're both really good. Funny how after the results, most people are commenting that the results are BS. Who'd figure.
