CBS sticks with Charlie Sheen, 'Two and a Half Men'

Whatever is happening in Charlie Sheen's personal life at the moment, he's apparently not bringing it to work with him.Both CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler and Sheen's boss, "Two and a Half Men" showrunner Chuck Lorre, said Saturday (Jan. 9) that Sheen's recent arrest and the flood of details about the Christmas morning incident involving him and wife Brooke Mueller hasn't affected his work on the show.
"We [taped] a show last night, and it went extremely well. The audience was wonderful last night," Lorre said at the TV Critics Association press tour. "Charlie's consummate pro, and he delivers. Last night was one of our strongest episodes."
Hanes stopped airing commercials featuring Sheen, but for now CBS has no plans to do anything with "Two and a Half Men," the highest-rated comedy on TV at the moment.
"Right now we're being very sensitive to the fact that this is a very personal and very private matter with Charlie," Tassler says. "There has been no impact on the network right now. ... Right now it's business as usual for us."

Glad to see Charlie get back to work and move forward. It will get him away from the mess. 2.5 Men is easily my favorite comedy on CBS.
Back in the day, Evening Shade was canceled when their super popular star had an affair and a divorce(seriously the show was damn funny at times). CBS did that. Dave's World was canceled not long after RL Dave Barry got divorced. CBS did that. soooo you can hold a knife on your wife so long as you don't divorce her. Good to know.
An arrest warrant affidavit released Monday quotes Mueller as saying that the "Two and a Half Men" star straddled her on a bed with one hand grasping her neck and the other holding the knife.
I think Charlie Sheen is a major stud, I'm wildly and weirdly attracted to him.

Two an a Half Men should never have stayed on the air. I couldn't believe what they were saying and to have a little kid join in on these conversations is insane. Angus isn't little anymore but the show is so sexist and CHARLIE SHEEN HAS NO BUSINESS WORKING IN ANY MEDIA> HE NEEDS TO GET HELP OR GO OFF SOMEWHERE BY HIMSELF> CBS JUST WANTS THE MONEY TO KEEP COMING IN
