Candy Crowley tapped as CNN Sunday morning anchor
The CNN host shuffle continues with Candy Crowley. The veteran correspondent will anchor the network's Sunday morning political talk show, "State of the Union," beginning on Sunday, Feb. 7 at 9 a.m. ET, reports the AP.
Crowley, 61, will replace John King, who in turn is going to weekday evenings, the slot Lou Dobbs vacated in 2009.
Crowley has breached the boys' club since she's the only woman doing a Sunday morning political show, up against CBS' Bob Schieffer, NBC's David Gregory and FOX's Chris Wallace. Only ABC remains open ever since George Stephanopoulos left for "Good Morning America."
Crowley specializes in covering U.S. presidential, gubernatorial, and Senate elections. She's been with CNN since 1987.

"GUBERNATORIAL"
It's about time a network made an intelligent decision for this format! Go Candy!
Had a facelift. So obvious.
I love Candy! She's intelligent, professional, and a pleasure to listen to, compared to some of the other talking heads *cough* Wolf Blitzer *cough*.
Candy is amazing - I'm so glad she's going to be on camera more.
Facelift? Yeah, right.
Yes, GREAT decision! I loved her since I discovered her during the election. Interesting and intelligent. I search her out for her comments. I hope she didn't get a facelift; I hate all those babes on the news.
