'Bones'' John Francis Daley: Booth's feelings for Brennan will eventually prevail

john-daley-bones-320.jpgLast week, "Bones" creator Hart Hanson told KTV that the show's upcoming 100th episode will "place everything in context" and "change everything" with regard to Booth and Brennan.

We are heading to the "Bones" set today, where cast and crew are working on this milestone of an hour, and thought you might have a few follow-up questions for Mr. Hanson, David Boreanaz or the rest of the cast.

If so, comment below or contact me via email at kghosh@zap2it.com

But first, a little one-on-one with John Francis Daley (Sweets) regarding his character's part in ep 100 as well as the Booth-Brennnan saga...

Sweets' book release plays a big part in the 100th episode. It's what prompts the flashbacks to Booth and Brennan's first case. How badly do B&B react to Sweets' interpretation of them?
JFD:
They definitely have issues with [the book]. There are things in the book that are way off according to them. And that's what sort of launches us into that flashback of six years earlier. [They want] to fill me in on what I was wrong about in terms of their relationship and how they first met. It's fun for me, because I get to hear it from them first hand, their first impressions of each other. They didn't like each other at all when they first met.

But Booth and Brennan definitely do like each other now. In fact, Sweets knows Booth loves Brennan and actually talked him out of telling her. Have the fans been giving you a bit of a hard time about that?
JFD:
You know, absolutely. Because everyone can clearly see the sparks between the two of them. And it is frustrating for my character to put a wrench in those gears. But I think the truth [of Booth's feelings] will eventually prevail. Who knows, maybe if they had told each other that they loved each other back then, it wouldn't have worked.

Hey, thank you for all the info!
I'd like to know more about the episode in the '40s style'. Stephen Nathan tweeted about it a few months ago, but we never heard about it since then. Thanks!

I'd like to know what's in store for the episode Kathy Reichs writes!

Ooooh! Ask if the gravedigger trial is going to happen and if booth gets to see Brennans letter to him?! ;)

can booth and brennan have a smooth ride instead of a bumpy one? :( if Hart got them togheter, I PROMISE I and so many millions of others would keep watching too...is Hart up to the test? xxxx

I wonder what he means by, "Who knows, maybe if they had told each other that they loved each other back then, it wouldn't have worked." Did they love each other back when they first met?! Only time will tell! Can't wait! :D

They could have told each other back then. Hart could have made it work because they aren't real. They just need to get together soon.

@ForensicMama- Pretty sure what JFD meant was re:the beginning of s5 when Sweets told Booth the love was because of the tumor. :)

IF or WHEN they (Booth and Boones) get together it should be as the series is ending (last episode) or about to end (last season).

They could have told each other back then.

ZACK - its all about Zack. What are the possibilities of him returning permanently. They MUST find a way. I like the new guy, but the chemistry with Zack on board feels complete. There is still something missing. Its ZACK.
