Anne Hathaway to announce Oscar nominations

Anne Hathaway will need a bit of coffee when she rises bright and early next month.

The Oscar-nominated actress will join Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Tom Sherak on Tuesday, Feb. 2 at 5:30 a.m. PT to announce the nominations for the 82nd Academy Awards.

Hathaway, who was nominated last year for "Rachel Getting Married," is a timely choice to make the announcements. She'll next appear in the ensemble rom-com "Valentine's Day," which hits theaters on Feb. 12, as the White Queen in Tim Burton's highly anticipated "Alice in Wonderland" (March 5) and "Love and Other Drugs" opposite Jake Gyllenhaal.

The 82nd Academy Awards will be televised live on Sunday, March 7 from the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.
