'America's Best Dance Crew': Omarion will replace Shane Sparks

The search for the newest "America's Best Dance Crew" judge has come to a close.

As Zap2it was first to report last week, the MTV series was on the hunt for a third panelist to replace hip hop choreographer Shane Sparks, and popular R&B star Omarion seems to be the person they were looking for.

Omarion will join "Dance Crew" for the show's upcoming fifth season, serving as a judge alongside Lil Mama and JC Chasez, who have both been with "ABDC" since season one.

Sparks was arrested Dec. 18 on eight counts of child molestation.

Season five of "America's Best Dance Crew" will premiere Thursday, Jan. 28 at 10 p.m. on MTV, with season two of "Taking The Stage" airing immediately afterward at 11.
