'America's Best Dance Crew' exclusive: Is Shane Sparks being replaced?
Last month, the producers of "America's Best Dance Crew" were busy auditioning hopeful dancers across the country to compete on the upcoming fifth season of the show.This month, however, the producers are looking for a new judge.
Sources tell Zap2it that Shane Sparks, who has been with the series since its first season and who is also a regular choreographer on FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance," is being replaced.
Insiders say auditions for a new expert panelist have just begun, but the early candidates include recording artists Missy Elliott and Ne-Yo and "Step Up 2: The Streets" director Jon Chu.

Let him go. The controversy will just take away form the show and the dancers.
I think John Chu would be an excellent choice.
He is a pervert and deserves to be kicked off the show. I have seen him in both LA and San Francisco and he sickens me. He is obsessed with young girls and it shows in his choreography and the way he talks to them.

The problem is, he was the only good judge on the show, if he's gone the panel will have no credibility with the audience. Whoever the replacement is may have a lot of credibility in the dance world, but the watching public will take a while to learn about them, unlike Shane who was a known commodity before the show started because of his time on SYTYCD.
No way you could let him stay as a judge unless he gets an aquittal. Would be crazy to have an accused child molester as a judge

True, these accusations were from a really long time ago and people change. Nonetheless, he is still a "role model" and I believe he needs to be replaced by someone that has a better reputation.
ABDC has already overstayed their welcome anyway. Let's just not produce another round at all.
