'American Idol's' Simon Fuller, Perez Hilton to create next boy band
Ready for the Spice Boys?"American Idol" franchise creator Simon Fuller is teaming up with celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton and pop music tour director Jamie King to find the next hot boy band.
Like the Spice Girls, whom Fuller mentored and managed, the boy band will be comprised of five members. No telling if each of the members will be similarly "themed" with personalities.
Boy Band is currently seeking auditions for lads between the ages of 13 and 21.

I think they might have some royalty issues with Nickelodeon over the name. Back during the time Spice Girls were big or flailing off, I remember a few different sketches with the Spice Boys. Granted I was a child and this was during the better All That.
Anyway, good to know stupid music is still being made... wait, what?
Noone will watch anything that queen, Perez Hilton, does. Why would we subject young boys to doing anything with him? Hope he doesn't have an active hands on roll. Still in search of more than 15 minutes of legitimate fame. Loser. Not watchin' it!
A Boy Band! Good luck - it's a dead market. I guess the talent would nyx that statement but unless they're completely different or ground-breaking the public won't latch on. And Paris Hilton - no talent other than a stinging tongue and i don't quite see how these 2 relate...A new approach i guess?
I wouldnt watch anything associated with Perez. His drama, and just wants attention...
Anyone want to see an AWESOME kid band? Mostly 13 yr old boys, with a 13 year old female bass player. High Voltage is an all kid AC/DC tribute band in CO that would LOVE to get noticed somehow!!!
