'American Idol': Shania Twain -- how'd she do?

"American Idol" welcomed its third guest judge Tuesday night. How did the country-pop princess Shania Twain fare?Thus far Zap2it readers are saying of Victoria Beckham, "Middle-of-the-road. Nothing spectacular, but not bad" and of Mary J. Blige, "Terrible. She was so rude." So what about Shania?
We happen to think in terms of someone who "gets" "Idol," Shania Twain is probably one of the best guest judges they found. Whether or not you enjoy country/pop music (and we don't, really), she has an incredible voice and her music genre is right in the "Idol" wheelhouse.
So we were disappointed that A) Chicago turned out to be kind-of a bust city and B) Shania only got an hour-long episode. We barely got to see her comments, but we liked what we did see. It's not saying too much, but so far we think she's the best guest judge.

Shania was by far the best! She had constructive advise and had fun! She was playful with the other judges and her personality really shined! What a ray of sunshine!
She was the best so far, absolutely. She gave advise, she gave praise, and she let the terrible ones down easy. I loved her personality. She should have been Paula's replacement.
She was one of the best guest judges of this or any season. But I found it annoying that she kept twirling the stringy decoration thing on her shirt. What was that about?
I thought she was really good, too. When Simon leaves next year, it would be fun to see her replace him, although I know that would never happen. Her criticism was constructive and she actually gave the would-be idols advice that they could use!
I usually don't watch the painful beginning episodes of Idol for each season, but I made an exception for Shania. Yes, I would have liked to have seen her a little more too.
Shania was the best judge I've seen on Idol. She was really attentive to the contestants and offered constructive advice. More, she had a good rapport with all the judges. I think Idol would get better ratings if Shania were a permanent judge. But I would prefer Shania comes out with a new album soon. I miss her music.
Shania was the best guest judge they've ever had. Heck she's a better judge than some on the panel now. She should definately have been Paula's replacement no doubt about it.
