'American Idol': See Adam Lambert perform on New Year's Eve

It wasn't on TV, but Adam Lambert's New Year's Eve performance has been captured on video.The "American Idol" runner-up was initially scheduled to be part of ABC's "New Year's Rockin' Eve" but was disinvited following his racy American Music Awards performance. Instead performed in front of about 4,500 people at the Gridlock party at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles. An intrepid fan with a YouTube account was there, so we can share it with you.
Here's part of his 40-minute set. Do you dig the sparkly outfit? He said he was trying to look like "a firework."

OMG, such poor audio to post on a news article! If people were checking this out to hear him you didn't do any favors! There are a ton of videos out there already from last night the sound amazing! Search youtube I am sure you could find a better video to post in your article!
Seriously there are a lot better videos up on youtube now so I suggest you change this one. The videos by aireference are much better. Adam Kicked A@s!! He was on fire and looking gorgeous as always!!

I got to go to the concert and Adam was hot. I wanted him to look at me. But the crowd was to big
The concert could have went on all night. I loved it. I hope to go to another one soon. He is so cutie!!!!!!!
I drove from Poway after work at 8:00p.m. and only got 2 hours of sleep. I still can not sleep. He has be in a day dream. I was the cutie blond. But I could not see me and I had a really hard time seeing him. Some people said, I looked like Cindy Loper.
