Apparently Katy Perry got bitten by a big bug Tuesday (Jan. 26) -- a bug called "American Idol."Perry tells MTV News that her "Idol" experience was awesome and that if she was offered that position as a permanent host, she would ditch her career and take on that career. Wow!

I think Katy was awesome. She gave Kara what she deserved. I think she watched the show last year and realized Kara is a complete moron and didn't take any of her crap. She should replace Kara or Randy in my opinion. Who cares who hosts the show. A monkey could do that job. No real talent needed.
Well she was certainly b*tchy enough to take Simon's place.
Kara is way better than Katy, but both on the panel would be good. Ryan needs to keep doing what he is doing.
None of this really matters anyway, because Simon leaving will kill the show, which is already on life support anyway.
Katy was not a very good addition to the judging panel. Didn't really have anything much to say that was worth hearing. However, I bow down to her for shutting Kara the F up! Her comments to Kara were priceless!!
Is Katy that much of a ***** all the time or was she just showing off. Probably taking advantage of a few minutes of fame, being beligerent and trying to appear intelligent. She definately can't make it as a singer, so maybe this was her attempt to get attention. Pretty pathetic. .
Everything Katy said was RATIONAL and not EMOTIONAL which is what judging all about.
Actually, for those of you who didn't know. Kara is an awesome judge of talent, especially since she's written and produced numerous songs for a ton of celebrity female/male singers that most of you probably listen to today.

Are you actually serious?! To claim this Kara woman has talent to judge people on the way they sing is giving her way too much credit. This Katy girl did what all other judges should do and that's chastise this ***** for shooting her mouth off and not knowing what the hell she's talking about. Kara should be ousted after this season and good riddance if it does happen.
Too bad she was judging people when SHE CAN'T SING.
I agree with the last post, Katy isn't even a good singer, so what she had a song or two on the radio, so did Brittany Spears. She was a horrible judge, and I think she seemed jealous that many of the contestants are better singers then she is.
