'American Idol': Katy Perry -- how'd she do?
Katy
Perry seemed to be at odds with judge Kara DioGuardi on Tuesday's "American Idol." How do you think she did as a judge?
First of all, we don't think Kara and Katy were really "fighting." We think they disagreed about singers and the editors made it look like they were one disagreement away from rolling around the floor, pulling hair and scratching eyes.
However, we do think other than the "fight" she supposedly had with Kara, Katy Perry didn't really DO anything. She got creeped out by Jason Greene, but who didn't? Other than that, she kind-of just sat there and agreed with the judges (except when she didn't, in the montage, and apparently that's grounds for a catfight).
We feel like the editors had to make a catfight montage to make Katy Perry interesting. It's not entirely her fault -- she only got a half-hour episode, so her actual screentime was really small. But we still think she's right up there with Lady V Beckham as being kinda pointless.

I think she was rude and very unprofessional. I think she needs to get over herself and stop trying to out do the rest of the cast.
Her boobs are nice... that's the only real benefit of having her there.
I think they made the montage to make people feel sorry for Kara. So far all I've seen out of this seasons auditions is a focus by the producers on building up Kara's image on the show (now that Paula is gone). Myself, witnessing a woman knock Kara off her pedestal was worth the hour watching the show. I'm not a Paula fan, I just wish Kara was replaced.
i think she was rude and obnoxious, who does she think she is? she doesn"t sing all that well herself her and her little fruity outfits are ridiculous,i have seen better talent in the american idol auditions than she will ever have.
katy perry kissed a girl and she liked it pleeeeeze is that the best she can come up with .she sucks
i liked how she disagreed with kara but i don't think she's been in the business long enough to judge.
Haters!!!!!!!!!
It is amazing that someone with as weak a singing voice as Katy Perry was selected to judge other singers. If she were a contestant on the show, I doubt she would be sent through.
happy to see Kara get taken down a few notches!!
She is pretty. But, she is too full of herself and it really showed. What a turn off! She doesn't get my vote for a return to Idol ever! And for her to say she was keeping herself from throwing her coke into Kara's face was unbelievably childish. I don't know how Kara could stand being in the same room with her let alone sit next to her.
