'American Idol': Katharine McPhee makes out with Joel McHale!

"American Idol" Katharine McPhee has been locking lips with Joel McHale -- on the episode of "Community" she filmed, McPhee tells "Chelsea Lately."We're assuming Joel gets the McPheever as part of a plot to make Brita jealous on "Community," but either way we are pumped for that episode.
Also on "Chelsea Lately," Katharine dishes on her workout regimen (have you seen her on the cover of Shape? Yowza!), while looking totally hot in her one-shoulder dress.
They also touched on her blonde 'do and the fact that the Idols don't really get to know the judges that well. So her reaction to Simon Cowell's impending departure? "I'm like, good for him, go enjoy your life! Do whatever you wanna do! He's not a personal friend of mine."
Chelsea responds, "He doesn't have any friends, he's not a personal friend of anybody's."
