'American Idol': Charity Vance quietly wows in Chicago

charity-vance-american-idol.jpgCharity Vance's "Summertime" on "American Idol" showed off her quiet but powerful voice.

Charity Vance was one of our favorites on the Tuesday, Jan. 19 "American Idol" episode. Her interpretation of "Summertime" from musical "Porgy and Bess" was masterful. We hope she went on to do well in Hollywood Week.

What did you guys think? Did Charity impress you on "American Idol?" We thought she did a really great job.

I hate to admit it.about Charity Vance..she's really really good...but I'm still going to back Katelyn

My favorite! She is only 16! Watch for her, she will go far even without AI. Simon thinks she would record well, that should say it all.
