'American Idol': Carrie Underwood is Super Bowl-bound

Guess who's singing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl? "American Idol" sweetheart Carrie Underwood has been tapped to sing the Star-Spangled Banner at this year's Super Bowl between the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints.
According to the Associated Press, Queen Latifah will also be on hand to sing "America the Beautiful" and, as was previously announced, The Who are the halftime show.
The Super Bowl will be broadcast on CBS Sunday, Feb. 7, followed by the premiere episode of "Undercover Boss."
