'10 Things' returns in March;'Secret Life,' 'Make It or Break It' renewed
The Stratford sisters and their high school suitors are back."10 Things I Hate About You" will return with all-new half-hour episodes on Monday, March 29 at 8 p.m. ET/PT .
Based on the movie of the same name, the series is loosely inspired by Shakespeare's "Taming of the Shrew" and centers on two sisters -- socially conscious Kat (Lindsey Shaw) and fun-loving, popular Bianca (Meaghan Martin) -- who deal with high school dramas, their over-protective dad (Larry Miller). Ethan peck, Nicholas Braun and Dana Davis also star.
ABC Family also announced it has renewed "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" and "Make It or Break It" for the summer.
"Both returned last week to record numbers -- our Millennial audience is just so passionate about these shows and has responded to both of these dramas in such a big way," said ABC Family president Paul Lee.
This will make a third season for "Secret Life" and a second season for the gymnastics drama "Make It or Break It."
Finally, the network will premiere two new original movies in the spring.
The Hilary Duff movie "Business of Falling of Love" will debut on Sunday, April 18 at 8 p.m. ET/PT and revolves around fashion journalist Lane Daniels (Duff) who goes undercover in a corporate job to date as many "suits" as possible for "research." Do you need more? Didn't think so. We're so there.
"The Cutting Edge: Fire & Ice," the latest sequel in the ice skating romance franchise, will debut on Sunday, March 14 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. "Secret Life's" Francia Raisa as Alex Delgado, a former figure skater who's turned to teaching after her partner got injured. Brendan Fehr ("Bones," "Roswell") who is named, get this, James Van Behr is a bad boy of speed skating who's been banned from the sport. Can that happen? We'll tell you what can happen: Love, on the ice, "Cutting Edge"-style.
