Twitter'Ugly Betty' reportedly moving to Wednesday
UPDATED: ABC has confirmed "Ugly Betty" will move to Wednesdays starting January. The show will take the 10/9 Central slot vacated by now-dead supernatural drama "Eastwick."
Between the makeover, the promotion and the time slot moves, it's hard keeping up with "Ugly Betty" these days.
ABC banished "Betty" from Thursdays to Fridays as its fourth season began this fall, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, "Betty" will soon switch to Wednesdays.
The recently vacated "Eastwick" slot is up for grabs, after all.
Zap2it reached out to ABC for comment, but the network would not confirm anything, saying the rumored move is just speculation.
We, however, are thinking all signs point to B. Suarez packing up to become part of the network's Wednesday comedy block right quick.
ABC Wednesday is a pretty solid TV success story this year, with 3 of the 5 new shows -- "The Middle," "Modern Family" and "Cougar Town" -- getting full season orders.
If "Ugly Betty" does in fact take the 10 o'clock slot that was previously occupied by the canceled "Eastwick," it will most likely fare better than it has been on Friday nights.

not really into the show, but there's nothing better on wednesday...
Awesome idea! Have been enjoying the current season (thx to TIVO) and would enjoy a night of "Modern Family", "Cougar Town" and "Ugly Betty". ABC...do it please!

I'll watch "Ugly Betty" wherever they move it, but I'm a little surprised they're thinking of moving it to 10 pm ... that seems a little late for a show like that.

It's superb...This is an amazing news for me..I love Ugly betty show very much...I like all the seasons and episodes of this show.Whenever i miss any episode of this show i watch ugly betty show from "Download-tvshows.com" website..
It makes perfect sense. Crazy like a fox move. Remember when Gunsmoke moved to Mondays years ago, it got new life and new viewers in a new day and timeslot.
Ugly Betty needs this time spot to regain its viewership and attract new viewers, or it will end with a four season run. That would be a shame, since it has so many lose ends to tie down.
I would guess it would be in the 8 O'clock hour with either the Middle or Cogar Town moving to Tuesdays.
Amazing - a network is actually moving a show rather than letting it die. This is actually quite rare. Since people are so convinced that all shows go to Friday to day, hopefully the switch will bring people back who'd assumed the show was done for.
