TV ratings: 'Two and a Half Men' leads a rerun-heavy Monday
Fast National ratings for Monday, Dec. 28, 2009The broadcast networks essentially took the night off Monday, with reruns and a movie on ABC filling the schedule. Per usual when that happens, CBS finished the night on top.
Led by "Two and a Half Men," CBS drew 8.6 million viewers and a 5.4 rating/9 share in households for the evening. ABC (6.25 million, 3.6/6) came in second, while FOX (4.7 million, 3.0/5) took third. NBC finished fourth with just 2.7 million viewers and a 1.7/3, but that was still a good ways ahead of The CW (916,000, 0.6/1).
CBS also led among adults 18-49 with a 2.2 rating, edging ABC's 2.1 for the top spot. FOX, 1.5, finished third, followed by NBC, 1.0, and The CW, 0.3.

ABC: Movie - "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" (6.05 million viewers, 3.6/6 households)
CBS: "How I Met Your Mother" rerun (6.05 million, 3.8/6)/"Accidentally on Purpose" rerun (5.8 million, 3.6/6)
FOX: "House" rerun (4.8 million, 3.0/5)
NBC: "Community" reruns - two episodes (2.85 million, 1.8/3)
The CW: "One Tree Hill" rerun (1.15 million, 0.7/1)
18-49 leader: "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" (1.8)
9 p.m.
CBS: "Two and a Half Men" rerun (11 million, 6.7/11)/"The Big Bang Theory" rerun (10 million, 6.1/10)

NBC probably could have put on a screensaver and received better ratings than a rerun of Leno. Local news affiliates must be seething with their continued decline.
ABC has so little of interest in their vaults to rerun, that they had to put on a tired old movie. How pathetic
less than 12 days till the return of CHUCK !!!
It is still clear that CBS is king. If the other networks would put anything on worth watching maybe someone would watch. They can promote this garbage all they want but if it is garbage no one will watch.
Glad NBC tanked but what else is new with Nothing But Crap?

Hey Tim, those are garbage prices! I have never spent over $10 on a DVD in my life. What's the purpose? You can get them a whole lot cheaper on other web sites.
