Those are hit comedies are ABC?
I thought ABC told us that Eastwick was going to be this big hit and a great show. I guess it's just another ABC lie.
Not bad for a Leno rerun, considering the time of year and the numbers he usually brings in.
TIM - enough with the links/advertising. We don't care!!!!!
I toured the WB Studio Lot right before Eastwick premiered and saw many of the Eastwick storefronts, fountain, etc. I kept thinking to myself: "Why would anyone want to watch a TV-series update of the 1987 film?" That same night, I went and watched a taping of the second episode of Hank, about a month before the show premiered. It was pretty obvious even then that the show was going to tank, even with David Koechner propping it up as Grady Funk. When the episode actually aired, the actress playing Grady Funk's wife was replaced with another actress. She was far from what was wrong with that episode. With the exception of the "Grady Funk Express" rollcoaster gag (which was mostly edited out of the actual airing), the show wasn't funny at all. At least 90% of the horrid laugh track can be attributed to the nutjob that was sitting next to me that had been to three different tapings of the pilot (which should have been a sign in itself that failure was imminent). I swear that he laughed after every spoken sentence of the episode. WB is a great television studio, but I'm surprised that Eastwick and Hank managed to get greenlit by WB and picked up by ABC.
it is good to see leno doing soo good in 6 months i think leno will be the #1 show in the USA
