The big four broadcast networks had their schedules disrupted by President Obama's address on Afghanistan Tuesday, but when things settled down CBS ended up with the most viewers for the night.

Also of note: "The Biggest Loser," bumped back an hour because of the speech, substantially (and unsurprisingly) outperformed "The Jay Leno Show's" average at 10 p.m., while the revamped "Scrubs" fell off significantly from its ABC debut last season.

For the night, CBS averaged 10.5 million viewers and a 6.9 rating/11 share in households. NBC (9.3 million, 5.9/9) finished second. ABC (5.49 million, 3.5/6) beat FOX (5.46 million, 3.4/5) for third place by the slimmest of margins. The CW trailed with 1.8 million viewers and a 1.3/2.

NBC led the adults 18-49 race with a 3.2, beating CBS' 2.4. FOX took third with a 2.1, followed by ABC, 1.6, and The CW, 0.9.

What a sad night for TV. This will give away my age, but Tuesday night used to be Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, Hart to Hart. Nothing great, but fun and entertaining. The Biggest Loser? Victoria's Secret? Blech.

What's even sadder is that Biggest Loser was 50% repeat. Each week they show the same video from the first show over and over and over again. How many times does NBC have to shove it down our throats. We get it already! They were fat arses to begin with and have lost weight. Stop reminding us. We watched the original shows.

Melrose is DOA. I like the show, but it is just a matter of time before they pull the plug.

Hey Aaron R - learn to READ:

NCIS was a RERUN.
If you dn't know what that means, I'd be happy to spot you a dictionary. I hear B&N have a cyber sale on them.
Doofus

What happens when Leno takes a day off? Ratings double, lol; what a loser.

We had a "The Good Wife" repeat at 9 last night...unless it was a very long commercial. Did anyone else see this?

The best thing on TV last night was the season final of The Sons Of Anarchy, what a way to end the season, FX knows how to produce quality shows.

So.. Aaron R and Aaron R. are different persons.... ?

HAHA!

On topic.. WOW! Even a re-run of NCIS gets great numbers.

Dump "Mediocre Place" and bring back "Reaper"

Oh Hi glad to see NBC won a 10 O'clock time slot. They won't learn anything by it.
