'So You Think You Can Dance': Nigel Lythgoe thinks Jakob or Russell will win season 6
Seeing Legacy eliminated this week after the phenomenal Travis Wall "War of the Roses/Mr. & Mrs. Smith" piece he performed with Ellenore? And Mollee axed too, though she had one of the finest performance shows of the season this Tuesday?
Well, it proves that America is not always voting based on merit.
But as judge Adam Shankman points out in the clip below, the votes probably weren't votes against Legacy and Mollee, just more in support of married couple Ryan and Ashleigh.
After Ashleigh's untimely injury and Ryan's romantic plea to vote for her, the tide clearly turned their way.
So Legacy and Mollee are out of crown contention, but as you'll see in their clip, they couldn't be more proud of the Top 6 and seem to be in great spirits regardless.
One thing they may be bummed about, however, is that they're now ineligible for this year's special prize, courtesy of Adam.
Adam, whose first professional job as a dancer was on the Academy Awards show 20 years ago, is actually directing the broadcast in 2010 and has announced that he will be hiring the Top 2 dancers to perform on the stage that night.
Sweet, no?
So, who will take the job?
Well, according to judge Nigel Lythgoe, this race is really between Jakob and Russell...
Adorable.
So who do you think will win next week?
Any thoughts on seeing Mollee and Legacy cut?

Sooo sad to see Legacy go! He was fantastic! He was my pick to win, but since that isn't happening now, I'm pulling for Jacob!
Nigel's late to the party. Picks should be made no later than Top 16 week.
Russell is the clear favourite to win, especially now that Legacy is gone.
Unfortuate that Legacy got cut this week, should have been Jakob.
I'm sorry that Legacy got cut but he was never my favorite and as the competition narrowed down, we have to support our absolute faves. And that for me, without question, is the incredible Jakob! I hope, America can actually vote the best dancer as their favorite. I know I'll be doing my part.
When you have this type of competition America NEVER "votes on merit"- It's America's
FAVORITE dancer folks- I hate to see anyone lose this year! And always try to remember that they are all going on tour
Jakob's this years Brandon. He should win, but probably won't.
I want Kathryn first, Jakob second (Because I feel he is more likely to have an amazing career than her after the show. So let her have a big reward now.)
like kayla last season, jakob is the most likely to move on to a serious dance career, regardless of winning the SYTYCD crown or not. it's just great that they got the exposure, and that we got exposed to them, too.
again a disappointment, Legacy should not of been cut, Ryan is the worst dancer of the top 10.
Russell is by the far the dancer that should win this. Such an astonishing guy. I don't like the crump thing, either, lol, he has showed me what real dance is.
How can you claim that the "tide turned" in Ashleigh's direction when she'd never been in danger of being voted off prior to this week? It seems to me she's always had the support of viewers, because no matter who she partnered with, she was never in the bottom. The people who voted her through this week were probably the same people who voted for her every previous week. I can see how the voting tide turned for Ryan, as he and Mollee had been in danger of being booted off off multiple times, but both Ashleigh and Mollee stuck to the same course they'd been on all season.
Ashleigh had never been in the bottom, so I was not surprised that people saved her based on the merit of the entire season. I was surprised to see Legacy go before Ryan, though. I'm pulling for Jakob for the win. He hasn't put a foot wrong yet (pardon the pun.)
