'Scrubs' Med: Yea or Nay?

I personally liked Cole. I think the creeper vibe works well with this series. Lucy, however, I am not too sure about. I understand that she is supposed to more or less be a "new JD," but I find her more annoying than anything. Definitely not enough to turn me away from the series. I will say though, I am VERY upset Janitor is no longer in. I'm PRAYING they came up with a way to bring Neil Flynn's character back in the rest of the episodes. He was definitely my favorite. Wishful thinking!

I loved that one scene in the first episode featured Guy Love and "eaaglleee!" Very classic. Turk's lines in the first two episodes were brilliant as well. Now that Janitor is gone and Ted hasn't appeared yet, Turk just may be my new favorite!

Now onto Dr. Cox... I like to see that his heart is actually warming up to an intern this season while at the same time still being a royal b-hole to Lucy. haha. Nothing compares to dbag Cox. :)

All in all, so long as Scrubs is a series, I'll never stop watching. They can change the cast up all they want. They can give it as much cheesy ABC vibe as they want. There will always be something this show offers that will keep me coming be (sup Denise?!)

I agree about Cole. He's creepy but in a cute way. He's my favorite new character too.

One more thing:
I love that I caught a glimpse of Beardface in the background of one scene. I hope Bill Lawrence continues to write in those extra characters: Hooch, Beardface, Snoop Dogg Attending, etc. Those characters definitely should never be sold short. They make great butt sides to jokes :P

Also, Dr. Cox's "number 1" (remind me of his name!?) - I like him. A lot.

I love Denise, she is the new superstar of the show. She and Drew are awesome and dysfunctional and I love it.

What about the big bomb they dropped with JD and Elliot? There was nothing settled in the "finale" last spring.

A lot of good new comedy on but it's comforting to have an old favorite still around. I hope Zack will continue to do the show for as long as it stays on the air.

I missed the first 10 minutes so missed the backstory on what happened. In addition to the news JD and Elliot are apparantly married, I was suprised they killed off Kelso's wife Enid, but thought that was handled with typical Scrubsian crude-grace.
Also liked the Denise and #1 relationship and how #1 got up and sang karaoke with JD and Turk. Seems they are setting up the Turk #1 relationship for when JD is not around.

I did not like the Cole character. I thought he sounded and asted too much like the Ed character from last year (even his voice inflections were similar) as well as a character Elliott dealt with in a previous season. I think he needs to be a little less one-dimensional. Liked Denise and actually hoped, hope they bring back a few more of those new interns from last season. I thought Sunny was going to be back, and I'd like to see Howie come back as well.

All in all though I'm not sure the first two episodes established enough of an identity to bring the show on par with previous seasons, especially without JD. But I'll keep watching cause when it's good it's good.

And best news of all is that Better Off Ted is coming back next week. Yaaay!!

I thought it was awful. Just awful.

The new girl is a little boring to me. Cole is good. Maybe if they can spice things up between those two.
