Report: Juju Chang would replace Chris Cuomo on 'Good Morning America'
The "Good Morning America" situation is getting muddier than bad coffee.
New reports say current news anchor Chris Cuomo -- who ABC denied Dec. 6 had turned in his resignation -- will still leave when George Stephanopolous replaces Diane Sawyer.
Cuomo would be replaced by "20/20" and "GMA" correspondent JuJu Chang, according to the LA Times' ShowTracker. The 44-year-old has been reporting for ABC for 18 years and so would be able to dive in right away.
Speaking of "20/20," ShowTracker reports ABC execs are trying to persuade Cuomo to stay with the network in a co-anchor on that show.

Of course, jmo, but I think ABC screwed up all the way around. Diane should still be on "GMA" and George should be on the nightly news broadcast. Did ABC not learn anything from CBS and Katie Couric??
It is so sad that Cuomo is Leaving GMA what is going on over at ABC George Stephanopolous is great for the weekend or even late night on Nightline but he does not have the energy needed to get people up in the morning. I fine with JUJU Chan coming on board but what should have happened is Robin should have taken Diane's spot and Juju should have taken Cuomo
s pot as Cuomotoke Robins. WHat about SAM is he staying on or are they going to bring in a borring weather guy. if he is leaving MAy I Suggest that they bring in a Latina weather girl.
Never cared for Cuomo on this show, but they need to come up with someone better than George to fill Diane's spot or people will exit in droves.
I have watched GMA for years, but if George is an anchor, I'll move over to The TODAY show. I really like Chris, and should have replaced Diane. He is a great morning personality.
How sad, JUJU in place of Chris, you must have been hit in the head. I will no longer watch GMA, My entire family cannot believe what you have done.

ABC is making a big mistake. Diane, Robin, Chris and Sam were a winning combination for GMA. Their chemistry, personalities, humor and heart kept me tuned to GMA. Anchoring news shows is the wrong place for Diane and Chris...they'll just be talking heads. George's personality is an unknown. I'll be scouting other morning shows now. So sad.
The new lineup for GMA is BORING. Losing Chris and replacing him with Juju is enormous. I have watched GMA for years and there has never been a better team. I think that the humor will be gone. Diane should have been replaced by Chris. I will really miss Diane too.
How do you pick George S. over Chris C? GMA will lose alot of views because of this decision! This defies lodgic, the idiots are in charge.
I really think it was a mistake to put George on GMA instead of keeping Chris. I really ejoyed Chris and the show will not be the samewithout him and I'm not sure I will continue to watch GMA.
I am bored already with GMA. While I like George, he is NOT the right energetic personality for Morning TV. Chris will be missed BIG TIME. Big Mistake not to keep him as his personality is perfect and I used to enjoy GMA simply because of CHRIS and Sam, Diane and Robin all personalities 'clicked' for enjoyable TV viewing which we NEED desparately. I am not impressed with Diane taking the 6:30 time slot.....George would have been a much better choice. Diane is too bubbly and delightful personality to not have on Morning TV. BIG MISTAKES being made at ABC.
