'Nip/Tuck' finale: 'Modern Family's' Eric Stonestreet guests
"Modern Family" is airing a rerun Wednesday night, but an hour later you can catch the show's Eric Stonestreet in an original performance. Just don't expect a lot of laughs.Stonestreet, who plays Cameron on the ABC show, is guest-starring in the season finale of "Nip/Tuck." He'll be playing a death-row inmate who's too obese to execute, so prison officials pressure Sean (Dylan Walsh) and Christian (Julian McMahon) into giving him liposuction in exchange for possibly letting Matt (John Hensley) go free.
So, you know, just another day at McNamara/Troy. I confess I've fallen off the "Nip/Tuck" bandwagon, but the brief glimpses of Stonestreet in the preview below has piqued my interest a little bit. If for no other reason than to see Stonestreet play a character who's vastly different, it might be worth a little DVR space.
"Nip/Tuck" ends its sixth season tonight and will begin its seventh and final season in just three weeks, on Jan. 6.

I've never seen Nip/Tuck, but I think this one may be worth watching. I really like this actor and it'll be interesting to see him play someone other than Cam.
ths is by far the best tv series of shows ive ever watched.no one can watch and not get addicted
I stopped watching "Nip Tuck" when it became apparent that women and the gay demographic were their target audiences. Even Christian's been raped for f#$^s sake!
Even though (and I have been noticing this with a other shows) the show becomes less and less about what the main focus was early on in the series, it's still great. It still has that combination of the surgery, the drama it brings and the drama in their personal lives. In my opinion, it hasn't lost what makes it a great show and hasn't gotten cheesy or boring! Which leaves it all in all, very interesting and worth watching.
You should start at the beginning and go rent the first season. It is such a great show. Totally crazy from the first ep but that's the funny side to it. Two main actors are brilliant hope to see them in other things too.
such a great show! Love Dylan Walsh, he was also great in The Stepfather- http://bit.ly/Sfland
