New 'Alice in Wonderland' trailer: The Mad Hatter and Alice take sides

After a couple of "Alice in Wonderland" trailers that served mostly to show us how well Johnny Depp's Mad Hatter works with director Tim Burton's imagination, new video gets to the meat of the story.

The Hatter and Alice (Mia Wasikowska) are reunited years after the latter's first adventure through the looking-glass, but there's no time for happiness: The Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter) has taken over Wonderland.

Now it's up to Alice and our Mad friend to lead the White Queen's armies against the famously head-lopping playing card. The trailer is packed with action, including the swordfight we've always wanted to see: Depp versus Crispin Glover.

That's mad against mad right there.

it only seems fitting that we should take a great children's story and make an adult horror film of it. get a life.

Johnny I love you.... you're so HOTTTT

The best thing of this movie is kind of obvious : Johnny Depp

Can't wait to see Johnny Depp in this - he's soooo versatile and makes his characters absolutely unique, to say the least. I wasn't a Fan until The Pirates of The Caribbean - he's sooooo Great in it. Saw him in Chocolat before, and was not all too impressed by him there. But then... Love Johnny Depp now...!!

My only complaint is Depp looks like he's just playing Willy Wonka again. Otherwise this looks cool. What's Anne Hathaway doing here? Didn't expect to see her. Reminds me of the American McGee's Alice video game of a decade ago. I'm looking forward to this one.

What time is the preview? And what channel?

Freaky.
