'Jersey Shore': Snooki-puncher Brad Ferro apologizes

snooki-punched-jersey-shore copy.jpgThe teacher caught on tape punching "Jersey Shore" star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi has apologized -- he was too drunk to remember what happened.

Brad Ferro, 24, tells the New York Post, "When I saw the video, I was sick to my stomach. I couldn't believe that I'd ever do anything like that. I was raised to act in a respectful manner to women."

He continued, "I remember very little from the time of the incident. It's all fuzzy. I remember a punch -- I don't remember who or why and I remember being arrested. I'm very sorry for what happened ... Nobody deserves that. That was not the real Brad Ferro."

Fair enough, Brad. Sounds like lesson learned and all that. In case you haven't seen the video, here it is:

This show is about the bottom of the rung for Reality TV and for general taste in humans.

Plus don't you immediately write off anyone who talks about themselves in the 3rd person.

SMDH...
I'm sorry. How are you going to let this guy off the hook, PLUS show the highly banned video of Snooki getting punched in the face, and blast Chris Brown incessantly for his altercation with Rihanna all in one breath? I mean Chris Brown apologized (probably in his sleep now) continuously, but it seems that it will never be enough. I don't know if it's favoritism or what, but if your are going to take a stance against violence of any kind, domestic or otherwise, then don't glorify one thing and object to the other for snark purposes.
Again, I don't even like Chris Brown, but this is ridiculous!

And by one breath I mean the article the site posted about his records being censored and how karma is a b*tch.

This is complete BS. we all know he was REQUIRED to issue an apology by the court DV program. If he didn't they would throw him in jail again. 2nd that stupid ***** should have been hit harder. It didn't fix her from being an annoying *****. 3rd, if men want to learn how to keep their ******* in check, they should visit manhood101 d o t c o m

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. How do you assail Chris Brown nonstop and give this guy the equivalent of a pass. That's just like Fox News dismissing all the damage done over the last eight years to Americans, taking all of it, and saying it's all Obama's fault now. Sounds ridiculous doesn't it?

Mark, I never said a thing about karma being a *****. The article was about his freak out on Twitter because he was seriously losing his mind about some CDs of his not being on the Wal-Mart shelves, when it turns out they were sold out. The karma comments were in the COMMENTS, not the post itself.

Did you also see the piece I did on Chris Brown on "20/20" and how he seems sorry and ready to be a better person and that that's great and we hope that's how it ends up?

Please read more carefully before you go throwing around accusations.

Andrea, no I didn't see the 20/20 article, but it had to have been written before the recent one since that interview took place either a few weeks or a month ago. The recent article was written at the beginning of this week. Plus, your article said "Where was the tweet that said' 'for the young fans...honestly sorry for beating up on women?" which is where my disdain came from. I know that the "karma" comment came from a commenter and I didn't make that clear so sorry about that.
But I am kinda offended that you called me out when Kip voiced his opinion as well. I don't know how to take that to be honest...

The poke at his tweets was a joke at how it's funny he'd be concerned about swear words.

I didn't address Kip b/c his comment hadn't shown up for me yet. Must have been a cache-ing problem.

You don't know how to take that? We're not in a relationship, Mark. You're very intense. : )

Oh, my bad, Andrea. I didn't know. I think I am already on the site's 'ish list. I DO love your recaps of 90210 and MP, though. :)

I'm glad she got punched. Coming from a girl, I know that sounds bad, but you can't just go around opening your mouth saying whatever you want. She's lucky that he didn't have a knife or a gun. Maybe she'll learn to be more wary of not knowing who she's talking to especially with alcohol is involved. She wanted to act tough and start a fight and she got what she asked for. As for Brad, he's screwed now, for the rest of his life, but he might be getting help for anger issues as a result...who knows? Snookie may have prevented a future wife beater...
