'Gossip Girl's' Jessica Szohr talks boyfriend Ed Westwick with Teen Vogue
She's the envy of every girl with a Chuck Bass obsession. Jessica Szohr. The 24-year-old Wisconsin-native who plays "Gossip Girl"'s down-to-earth Vanessa Abrams has been dating co-star Ed Westwick -- the man behind C. Bass -- for over a year now and is talking about their relationship in the February 2010 issue of Teen Vogue.
Szohr says the romance evolved from what was first a friendship: "It can be a little awkward when all of a sudden [you have feelings for] someone you'd call to talk about a different boyfriend. But there wasn't a lot of thinking and talking. It kind of just happened. We had fun together, and we were like, 'All right, let's see where this goes.'"
And it sounds like things are going well. "He's a really rad guy. He's awesome and smart and talented and adorable, and we make each other laugh."

they're probably my LEAST favorite GG pair. i don't know, something about her devil-may-care attitude (or at least red carpet style) just gets on my nerves. they're almost tied with sebastian && leighton for second, though, because of that accent he's got.... still, penn && blake will always be my favorite pair.

I love Ed Westwick, but Jessica Szohr I can stand. I wouldn't mind looking like her, because she's gorgeous, but watching her on the show is painful. She is a HORRIBLE actress. Heard the broke up recently, and I'm glad because they were my least fave GG real life hook-up. Leighton and Sebastian have as well, maybe art will imitate life and Leighton and Ed will get togethe. The two of them have chemistry like no other.
