'Glee': Idina Menzel has 'Vocal Adrenaline'

We've gotten our wish, "Glee" fans -- Idina Menzel is guest-starring! Menzel isn't playing mom to Lea Michele's Rachel Berry like we were all hoping. Instead, she's the director of competitor show choir Vocal Adrenaline, says The Hollywood Reporter. We'll take it!
And it's not a one-off guest stint either -- Menzel has signed on for the remaining nine episodes, airing this spring on FOX starting in April. Woo hoo!
We are pumped. Menzel won a Tony for her role of Elphaba in "Wicked" on Broadway, which coincidentally also starred fellow "Glee" guest Kristin Chenoweth. For their next trick, we'd like the "Glee" writers to manufacture a reason for the two of them to sing together. It doesn't have to be a "Wicked" song. We'll take anything. Make it happen, Ryan Murphy!
"Glee" wraps the first half of season one Wednesday night on FOX with "Sectionals."

i thought she didn't have a mom. in every other episode she talks all about her 2 gay dad's this and her 2 gay dad's that! lol. so i totally threw that mom thought out the window.
She could have six gay dads, but she would still have a mother. Men don't give birth...
OH! So far I haven't been completely on board with Glee, but I will totally watch for Idina. Yay!!
OMG thats going to be soo AWSOME!!!!!! but it sucks thst they are going to keep me waiting for sooooooooooo long before the next episode!!! i guess im going to have to buy the DVD, that i was still going too.And yea Rachel has two gay dads but a surrogate mother she said it in episode 1. Since they look alike somebody is going to bring it up and put thought on Rachels head and shes going to ask question (hopefully) and then they'll make an episode about it. I LOVE GLEE!!!!
