'Glee': Even NFL quarterback Drew Brees likes it!

"Glee" fans are everywhere, including quarterbacking the undefeated New Orleans Saints -- Drew Brees is a Gleek. Video below.Drew Brees appeared on "The Jay Leno Show" segment Top 9 at 9 last Wednesday, Dec. 9. He revealed that his childhood nickname was Cool Brees, his favorite sandwich is the #9 from Jimmy Johns and that his favorite show he's embarrassed to tell people he watches is "Glee."
He confesses that it's his show with his wife but that he doesn't sing along with it because he's a terrible singer. The next question is can he sing the Purdue fight song (Brees went to Purdue) and he's right -- he can't sing. But we applaud his enthusiasm. And don't be embarrassed, Drew. "Glee" is awesome!
We think Drew Brees watching "Glee" with his wife is about the cutest thing we've ever heard. We have a sneaking suspicion there are a lot of men out there who watch it "because their wife/girlfriend watches" (wink, wink, nudge, nudge), including both your author's boyfriend and father.
How 'bout it guys? Are you embarrassed to be a "Gleek?"

More hype for Glee, and yet, here are the low ratings again...
The press seems dedicated to giving the impression that Glee is a huge hit everyone watches, when it's not.
If those articles were a little less naked in their rah-rah pushing of the PR line and gave a little more context on the fact that Glee is an also-ran, those PR articles would be a lot less annoying.
8 mil viewers, ok in this day and age, 1st soundtrack certified gold, second soundtack #1 last week, over 3.4 million downloads on iTunes...I think this qualifies as a hit even if it doesn't draw 20mil viewers a week. Oh and did I mention 4 golden globe nominations?
It's officially the most watched new show this Fall in our meter market in Vancouver, Canada.
Glee is a hit hands down! It's not just the ratings, but the music downloads, product endorsements, money, money, money. Some people have no clue about how tv works, but love to make posts on here. Oh well it is a free country!
So Rena... which part on Glee were you turned down for? I mean, obviously you're bitter about *something* when it comes to this show, so let's hear it.
