'American Idol': Get a glimpse of 'Fantasia for Real' in January
"American Idol" winner Fantasia is getting her own reality show come Jan. 11, 2010.
The stage actress and Grammy-nominated singer will be starring in her own reality series "Fantasia For Real," according to VH1.
The eight-episode show will center on the single mother as she deals with fame, her career, and family.
Jeff Olde, Executive Vice President, Original Programming & Production of VH1 said in a statement, "Our audience helped Fantasia become an American Idol and now, with this series, they get a backstage pass into her real life as she confronts obstacles to realize her true potential as an artist, a mother, a daughter and a sister."
Fantasia joins the ranks of Chili (of TLC), Ray J, Terrell Owens, Salt -N- Pepa, Irv Gotti, and Diddy as VH1 reality show denizens.
