CBS gives 'Undercover Boss' coveted post-Super Bowl spot

We all waited with bated breath to see which CBS show will get the benefit of following up Super Bowl XLIV on Sunday, Feb. 7.

In fact, thousands of readers voted and decided the honor should go to "The Big Bang Theory."

But it wasn't meant to be ... the winner is the new reality show "Undercover Boss," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"Boss" follows top executives as they anonymously assume entry-level jobs at their company and receive eye-opening perspectives on how their decisions affect lower-wage employees.

The premiere episode features Larry O'Donnell, president and COO of Waste Management, as he cleans porta-potties and works at a recycling plant. The series will run at 9 p.m. Sundays starting Feb. 14, along with the 16th cycle of "The Amazing Race."

The network decision will be the first time since 2005 that a broadcast network has elected to air a new program after the Super Bowl.

And in keeping with the "Survivor" love on finale night, CBS also confirmed that the next edition of "Survivor" will be a "Heroes vs. Villains" format, bringing together memorable players from past seasons into two moralistically opposed tribes. The next round will premiere with a two-hour episode Thursday, Feb. 11.

ha ha...FAIL

wtf...??

who is actually going to watch that?

at least its not NCIS:(insert new city here)!!!!!!

terrible decision. i think airing a special big bang theory would have made that show even more popular that it already is. how fun would a one-hour superbowl special be for big bang theory? instead cbs will give us this terrible reality show which i hope fails miserably.

That sounds like a horrible idea! Sheesh. You'd think CBS could come up with something better.

I agree with all the people that said it was a horrible decision.

Hyping a reality-show retread is a horrible way to waste a perfectly good opportunity to gain viewers for a show with lasting potential.

I don't even watch BBG and I question their decision.

Again...FAIL
