salahi-white-house-290.jpgBravo Network has confirmed to Zap2it that while Michaele Salahi is one of the women being documented for "The Real Housewives of D.C.," the White House State dinner crash was not a part of the show.

Gawker is reporting that perhaps Bravo knew about the Salahis gate-crashing shenanigans and even wanted the stunt as the finale for the first season of "The Real Housewives of DC." However, Bravo's claiming this is "not true."

The spokesperson tells Zap2it, "We are in the middle of production, we have been shooting since about the middle of September. Bravo never announces cast members, doesn't disclose specifics about production ever with its reality programming. That's why the cast has not been officially announced, because we need to get all the way through production. We've got many more weeks of shooting before we finish up with the production... Michaele is one of the handful of women that we have been documenting, but again, we have not announced the cast."

A statement from Bravo also confirms: "The Salahis informed Half Yard (the producers of the series for Bravo) that they were invited as guests to the State dinner on Tuesday and Half Yard Productions were filming the Salahis in preparation for the event."

Earlier Tuesday (Dec. 1), the Salahis appeared on "The Today Show" and maintained that they were invited to the State dinner.

So there you have it. Perhaps the Salahis were hoping their White House stunt would help Michaele's chances of being showcased on "The Real Housewives of DC." That seems like a likely scenario to us and we can't deny that all this publicity could be bad for the show... provided the Salahis don't end up in Gitmo.

God, who cares about these lame-os , anyway???? I really do not care about them!

yeah do NOT care!

The new Montags. Media ******. If BRAVO puts this ho on their show, I will never watch anything on that channel again.

Everyone wants so badly to be famous from the Balloon Boy's father to these people. They have one thing in common - they're greedy liars willing to do anything for fame and money.

I am another one that will not watch Bravo if they cast her for the show. I can't believe they have made total fools of themselves and still think they have a chance.

BRAVO just lost me also, I have enjoyed up untill all this started coming out, and it would not suprise me if they were not behind it all. They have no control over what these people do, they could do their on checking, but now they look like fools, with no control of their on programs, so sad.

I watch the Real Houswives Shows....for entertainment....If BRAVO feature these Salahis. whatever...I will never watch the Housewives of DC....just a statement...the other housewives may be just as fame hungry but not as agregious as this couple...they are pathetic...The other ones are fame hungry too but still entertaining...

This is Great TV! BRAVO this is the Best! Can't Wait to see it! Haters are always going to be jealous. They will be the first to watch.
Sue

I will never watch this sick show or anything on Bravo. Hopefully the Salahi's will be in jail by time this putiful show airs. Maybe Bravo should paid off all the Salahi's credtors, get their home out of foreclosure...you think
