'American Idol' Kris Allen accepting suggestions on next single
"American Idol's" reigning champion Kris Allen felt right at home this week, performing on Wednesday's (Dec. 9) "So You Think You Can Dance" results show.
"SYTYCD" not only tapes on the same stage where Allen competed as an "AI" contestant earlier this year, but employs many of the same behind-the-scenes people too.
Allen, who truly couldn't be nicer, seemed genuinely happy to see so many familiar faces backstage.
After his performance, he spoke with Zap2it about the "Dance" crowd, whether or not "Idol" has already asked him to appear on the upcoming season -- he's still waiting for the call -- and what he's got planned for the holidays ... including a New Year's trip to Las Vegas where he's never before visited.
The singer has a lot going on right now and is still trying to decide which song from his album will be the next single.
We put our two cents in -- which you'll see in the video below -- and Allen seemed appreciative of the suggestion. He actually said that he has been thinking about it quite a bit and is, in fact, interested in hearing people's requests.

Alright With Me is awesome!!!! It's awesome.. It's a little different and it's really fun! ... I can The Truth for the third single.. he needs a slower one too!

He really should sing Send Me All Your Angels. I listen to his CD on my way to work everyday and I love this one the most.
Bring it Back. I love that song. It is a slower song and would show that he can do ballads also.

Can I have 2? I'd suggest both 'Alright With Me' and 'Bring It Back'. To be honest, I love everything on his album. The weakest is 'Lifetime'.
I'd like to see a better picture of Kris up there. There are so many beautiful pics available.
I vote for BWCU, loved that song from the first time I heard it. Dont think AWM is right for the 2nd single, too light weight at this point.
