Need something else to watch on New Year's now that "Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve" has canceled "American Idol" Adam Lambert? Billboard's got your "Idol" fix covered."American Idol" winner Kris Allen and fourth-place finisher Allison Iraheta will take the stage live from Las Vegas on Dec. 31 to perform hits off their latest albums.
Carmen Electra is hosting the live Billboard New Year's Eve event, which airs on FOX from 11:00 pm to 12:30 am ET Dec. 31. In addition to the "American Idols," singer Sean Kingston will also be performing.
We're a bit surprised they didn't nab Adam Lambert for this after ABC dropped him. Talk about getting the band back together. We'd love to see it; no other season of "Idol" contestants actually seemed like the real friends the contestants were on this last season.

I love Kris and Allison. But the two of them together don't equal one Adam Lambert. Whereever he is on New Years Eve, if possible, that's where I will be. But congrats to Kris and Allison. I only wish it was Kradison!

Wow, a good opportunity for Kris and Allison, but must feel weird knowing they weren't first pick and are only getting because of the stupid controversy with ABC double standards, this just gets worse and worse, ABC is a joke and I will not be watching this show. nothing against Kris or Allison, good on ya.
