'American Idol' art: They all start somewhere

To go along with its full-season schedule announcement, "American Idol" has released the art for the ninth season. Check it out.

The slogan for this year is "They all start somewhere" and the art depicts people singing in various locations -- the car, a garage band, the subway, an alley.

We'd like to call "American Idol" out on their highly sexist ad campaign. Four of the five posters are female singers and the one male singer is apparently a panhandler in the subway. We suppose there are those two guys in the audition poster (bottom right), but they're lurking rather creepily, are they not?

Kidding, kidding, "American Idol." We love you and we can't wait to have you back Jan. 12 on FOX.
