'American Idol' Adam Lambert to appear on 'The View' Dec. 10

The morning after Adam Lambert is appearing as one of Barbara Walters' "Most Fascinating People," the "American Idol" finalist will appear on her talk show "The View."ABC announced Friday that Adam Lambert will appear on "The View" Thursday, Dec. 10, following his Dec. 9 appearance on Walters' yearly special.
The appearance on 'The View" will include an interview with the ladies and also a performance (no word on which song will be featured), though both the interview and performance are taped.
Who needs press releases when Adam keeps us so up-to-date via Twitter. He tweeted earlier, "Hey friends! I will be performing and hanging w the ladies of ABC's The View Thursday the 10th!" and "Also look for me on Barbara Walters' Ten Most Fascinating People of 09 the night before also on ABC :)."
It's interesting that ABC is keeping Lambert on the Walters special and now booking him for "The View." Could it have anything to do with the outrage from GLAAD at all the Lambert cancellations? Hmmm. We hope he gives an impromptu performance of "Not Ready to Make Nice" and storms off.
"The View" airs daily on ABC. Check your local listings for times.

it's ABC's consolation prize to Adam.
Perhaps ABC was flooded with complaints? I sent them a strongly worded e-mail lambasting their cancellation of the two other scheduled appearances of Adam on ABC shows. He should be reinstated on both Jimmy Kimmel and New Years Rockin' Eve.
