'American Idol's' Adam Lambert on 'Chelsea Lately': Acid trips, being fat and all gay men love each other

What is a sexuality contest or a singing contest? He had so much flamboyance and sexual swagger onstage, why would they need yet ANOTHER thing to take focus off the MUSIC.

There haven't been any singers who have come out this early in their career, not even Elton, Freddie or George did!

Can you IMAGINE him going in the middle of the comp going "hey guess what America! I'm gay!" He didn't deny it, they never directly asked him, he never conformed or hid or changed himself ONE BIT. He was always the weird kid, always different, he's still weird and still different but he OWNS it now. He's f-n epic and fabulous and comfortable in his own skin. Kids need to know it's OK to be weird. How is it freedom if you're pretending to act as publicly straight as you possibly can like all these gays do constantly like they think their orientaion is indescent.

You're hilariously lame and ignorant if you genuinely think he's an attention *****. The media are OBSESSED with him, have been since his audition. They're f-n EAGLES. His own father said he finds the lack of anonymity hard to deal with at times. They're lucky he's has thick skinned, good humored and chill as he is otherwise he'd be having meltdowns like f-n Britney.
He's always been out there, even before Burning Man and the Zodiac Show, always attracted attention just by BEING HIMSELF. An attention ***** is someone with no talent you dumbas.s. People WANT to read about Adam just like you coming here to leave a comment about him. Even his 'haters' suck his dic.k following him everywhere. He was sweet yet ridic since the age of 7. He's gutsy, takes risks, he's just refreshing as MCho said, "He's brining male sexuality to music, he's electric." He mixes huge onstage flamboyance with sexual swagger. Mixes the masculine w the feminine, he can be as sweet and adorable or as naughty and aggressive and in control as he wants.

I find it hilarious how so many legends respect him yet there's still people like you who stalk him around just to show yourself up as a childish pretentious dbag.

There is a reason legends like Spielberg, Tyler, Tim Burton, Queen, Manson, Zeppelin, Conan, Madonna, PMcCartney, Rob Marshall, Muse, Rivers Cuomo, Linda Perry....list goes on forever...love and respect him. And it's not just bc he's a friendly, charismatic nice guy or bc he can hit every note on the guitar.

Chill, I didn't say I liked Adam because of that. I said I find him ATTRACTIVE. Why do you think he appeals to females as well as males? It's not about varying degrees of gay. Men who look and act like Perez Hilton are NOT attractive - FACT. As a girl, I don't like gayface or limp men and he is the opposite, it's just a TASTE thing.

there's a reason he's attractive to so many sexes regardless of how they identify. not many gay men are, i can't think of any right now. adam's like the perfect human. his imperfections and they way he handles himself make him even more perfect. he is my role model/hero.

He's so dynamic onstage and when he gets offstage unless he's working a crowd just returns to being Adam, disarming and sweet and stuff. His album is awesome.
