'30 Rock': Grizz Chapman needs some 'Kidney Now' help
The "Kidney Now" chickens have come home to roost -- "30 Rock" star Grizz Chapman needs a kidney transplant.Actor Grizz Chapman has revealed his medical condition in order to raise awareness about high blood pressure and the ensuing kidney problems. Chapman, who plays one half of Tracy Jordan's two-man entourage on "30 Rock," is currently receiving dialysis treatments three times a week.
The actor is in need of a kidney transplant but cannot be placed on the waiting list until he is at an acceptable body weight. He told the Associated Press, "I'm a little nervous about the process, but I'm definitely willing and able." He will also continue to play Grizz on "30 Rock."
