USA orders a fifth season of 'Psych'

"Psych" is staying on the schedule for USA.

A show insider confirms reports that the cable network has ordered a 16-episode fifth season of the popular series.

Psych is set to air the second half of its fourth season, starting in January. This fifth go-round is expected to begin next summer.

With "Monk" finishing its run in December, "Psych" will take the lead as one of USA's longest-running, most-watched shows.

One of the most enjoyable shows on TV. Glad it will be back. Only wish they would give it a few more episodes.
