Twitter'Twilight': Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart just 'good friends'
"Twilight's" Robert Pattinson has squelched rumors that he and co-star Kristen Stewart are heating things up off-screen and that he almost quit acting before Edward Cullen came along.The December issue of Vanity Fair features an interview with Pattinson in which he denies the rumors that he is romancing Stewart. "It doesn't make any difference what you say [to the tabloids]. I've literally been across the country [from Kristen], and it's like 'Oh, they were on secret dates!' It's like 'Where? I can't get out of my hotel room!'"
The not-getting-out-of-the-hotel-room is a different feeling for Pattinson, who felt he blew his audition for "Twilight" and was just about ready to call it quits with acting. Fortunately for all of us, the producers loved him and our Edward Cullen was brought to life.
The issue of Vanity Fair featuring Pattinson's interview (and apparently a great pictorial) is on newsstands in New York and Los Angeles Nov. 4 and nation-wide on Nov. 10.

britney -- you are so stupid for saying that. Doesn't Rob so much into the same Kristen that he has met 2 years ago? By the way, it is Kristen that the first one constantly denies the rumor. So they are just good friends. That's it. Don't read too much into it!

They are close friends. It makes sense, they both work on the same movie for 4 years. They hang out together, take plane together. Their chemistry in the film is amazing. No wonder why fans want them together. And the tabloid is also stirring thing up. But Kristen has denied the rumor along time ago. It's good to see them as good friends and don't mind the tabloid rumor. Don't let the buzz kill your friendship too, Kris and Rob.
I want to hear them deny it now. This interview was done in July when I really don't think they were dating.

they confirmed VF messed it up a little. It was quoted as putting words into his mouth about their whole dating thing. Here we go again.
