'Twilight: New Moon': Taylor Lautner says fans don't want to see him naked. Uh, what?

It appears all the fuss that has been made about Taylor Launter's toned torso hasn't really reached the 17-year-old.

When "Extra's" Mario Lopez asked Lautner if he'd be willing to shed even more clothes for the Jacob nude scene that's in Book Four of the "Twilight" saga, "Breaking Dawn," the actor replied, "I don't think the fans or the studio would be open to it, so I don't even really need to think about it."

Au contraire young Mr. Lautner. You turn 18 early next year, plenty of time for it to be a consideration by the time the fourth movie is officially announced. And, trust us, the fans want it. And what studio is going to stand in the way of giving the fans what they want?

One believable thing Lautner told Lopez is that it's "weird calling somebody your name," in reference to his girlfriend, 19-year-old country singer Taylor Swift.

What say you: Should "Breaking Dawn" come about should Taylor be totally in the buff or leave something to the imagination?

He's just being modest. He knows 99% percent of us teens and about 85% of grown people everywhere want to see that boy nude as can be!!!

Uh, he does realize that one of the biggest demographic of the series is gay men, right? We're always open to male nudity, rare in movies these days!!

Isn't this a double-standard? Would people (on this site or elsewhere) ever stand for an article written in this manner concerning a 17 year old girl?

Would it be okay to talk about wanting to see Selena Gomez or Miley Cyrus naked?

I don't actually care, in all honesty. I just find it interesting...

Jo is a typical female -- they don't want to see the goodies, just be "hugged" and talked to. ugh.

carefully obscured. whatever. keep the fans waiting for it. but don't give it to him.

i wouldnt want people to constantly think of my goods every time they saw me. once you show them, you've gotten rid of the guessing. then they'll get bored with you.

I'm male and wouldn't mind seeing Taylor Lautner naked (and no, I'm not gay). He's always been hot.

Hey, just had a thought.... Taylor Swift is 19 and he's 17. She's dating an under-age person, so if they had sex wouldn't that be some sort of crime in most states?

In one of the other replies here "hmmm" ponders the double standard of an article like this about lusting after a 17 y/o boy being OK, but it wouldn't be if about an under 18 girl. Well what about Swift dating him? Nobody seems to have made an issue out of that. Not that I think it's wrong or a problem, just very surprised other people haven't made a deal of it. They did with Miley and her one time older boyfriend.
