'Twilight: Eclipse' star Robert Pattinson calls Taylor Lautner's body 'strange'

robpattinson_290.jpgFans of the first film were surprised to see Taylor Lautner's new abs in "The Twilight Saga: New Moon." So was co-star Robert Pattison.

"I didn't see Taylor until just a little bit before we started shooting," Pattinson told MTV. "When he came back, I had the same reaction as everybody else. I was like, 'Jeez, now I have to go to the gym!' But yeah, it was strange."

(The actor, who played vampire Edward Cullen, must have gone to the gym: He did his own disrobing act for the movie.)

Despite the abs competition, Pattinson said he and Lautner barely worked together on the second movie, though they'll have more interaction during the third. As for "New Moon's" box-office draw, the actor said his favorite fans are the older ones.

"I always find it funny when older people come up," he told the channel. "There was a woman who came up to me the other day who must have been in her 90s. And she said all this stuff... it's very unusual. And they say exactly the same things as 12-year-old girls! That is kind of bizarre."

Pattinson and Lautner will reunite June 30, 2010, for "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse."

What the-?! Strange?! And what do you think of your body? It looks like it got run over by a 10-wheeler truck!

You can't hold a candle within 20miles of Taylor you drug-addict-rehab-escapee!

Somebody should have explained to Rob that that's what happens to a body when steroids are used. Yes, it looks strange and hard on the body considering Taylor has already said he doesn't want to do more shirtless scenes. He knows he can't keep using the 'help' he got to get that body. But he'll be looking for work soon if he doesn't rely on his 'enhanced' body because he's not that great an actor and with the big nose and funny eye/eyebrow he can't rely on his facial looks.

Mya...if he doesn't get another job for the rest of his life, he'll still make more than you'll make in all of yours. Funny eyebrows, big nose and all. What nasty ******* some of you are.(And I don't even like this crap.)

What a nasty piece of work you are Mya. I personally think that Taylor is a nice looking boy. Post a picture of yourself online and invite people to comment on YOUR looks.

mya you are a c.unt. nasty b.itch. taylor is a hot young man.

What a ridiculous headline. Robert didn't call Taylor's body "strange." Who makes this crap up? Now you know why celebs don't want to talk to the media...everything has to be sensationalized for controversy. This is just appalling journalism. Shockingly amateurish. Someone's head should roll for that headline.

seriously. what the hell? he was obviously saying the situation was strange, NOT Taylor's body. this website has gone to ****.

@Jason
This is Zap2it.com what did you expect them to be professional? Plus I think they hire EW.com rejects or have a bunch of monkeys writing articles for them!!!

Totally agree with Jason and Michael. I'm about done with this website. It has become quite an embarassment. The 'writers' are a joke.
