TV ratings for Monday are currently unavailable
UPDATE: Nielsen is now saying no ratings, either for Monday or last week, until at least Wednesday morning. We'll have them for you then.We got word this morning that because of a power outage at a Nielsen facility in Florida, the fast national ratings for Monday, Nov. 16 won't be available for at least the next few hours.
The same problem also affects the release of the weekly ratings.
We will post ratings for "Dancing with the Stars," "House" and the rest of Monday's shows as soon as they become available. Nielsen hasn't given its clients an ETA for the figures, however.
In the meantime you can peruse Zap2it's ratings hub for other data.

In the meantime, here are some TV Tidbits:
Notes of Interest
-WWE to Continue at USA:
World Wresting Entertainment (WWE) and USA Network have announced a four-year renewal on staple WWE Monday Night Raw, which will take it through 2014. This season to-date, Monday Night Raw is successfully on the rating charts with an average 5.5 million total viewers.
-Plenty of Bite in The CW Line-Up:
The CW has scheduled a week-long marathon of freshman hit The Vampire Diaries beginning on Monday, Dec. 14 at 8 p.m. ET. Two repeat episodes will air per night through Friday, Dec. 18 from 8-10 p.m. ET.
-Oprah’s Empire Continues to Grow:
There is still no official word what Oprah will do when the contract for her CBS Television Distribution talker expires in 2011. But Sony Pictures Television is in conversations with Harpo Productions, Oprah’s production company, to give frequent guest Nate Berkus his own spin-off talker. SPT, of course, is home to Dr. Oz, the highest-rated new talker since Dr. Phil in 2002. And Dr. Phil (and Rachael Ray) was spawned from Oprah.
-Three Rivers and Cold Case Swap Time Periods:
It is not a permanent move…yet. But CBS will test the waters on Sunday, Nov. 22 by flipping time periods for dramas Three Rivers and Cold Case. Veteran Cold Case will air in its former 9 p.m. hour, leading into struggling Three Rivers at 10 p.m. ET.
-Introducing History International HD:
History has launched a new 24-hour high definition cable network called History International HD, which debuts officially this month in Time Warner’s New York City and Los Angeles markets, Brighthouse’s Tampa and Orlando markets, and Cox’s Kansas and Arkansas markets. The new HD channel joins the AETN HD lineup, which currently includes History HD, A&E HD, Bio HD, CI HD, Lifetime HD and LMN HD.
This last post was not mine (although I would not have minded making it since it was chock full of information!) :)
In any case, before we read complaints about Nielsen, I thought I'd put a bit of perspective into it and note that when the studios experience problems in data gathering for the box-office results, they never delay publication. That is because the actual data doesn't matter to the studios saying whatever they'd like about their box-office.
Nielsen holds publication when it has problems because it's a serious outfit with reasonably serious data.
Rena, thank heavens you are here to clear that up for all of us. What on earth would we do without your uneducated, biased, condescending opinions every day?
hey everyone, i masterbate over 10 times a day, is this weird ??
Waxine, Here an analysis I did. I don’t appreciate being bullied by street teamers so please stop it.
Now to my analysis:
Heather Locklear returns to Melrose Place tonight to reprise her role as Amanda Woodward. What will she do for the ratings? More importantly, what does she need to do to save the show? Here are last week’s final numbers for Melrose Place:
- 1.275 million viewers
- 0.9/1 HH
- 0.7/2 A18-49
- 0.8/2 A18-34
- 1.2/3 W18-34
For the season to date, the CW is averaging a 1.2 rating for adults 18-49 and a 1.5 rating for adults 18-34 (sadly, we don’t have a season average for women 18-34).
With Melrose Place currently averaging a 0.73 rating for adults 18-49 (including a single repeat), I think Heather would need to increase the show’s 18-49 rating to a 1.1 to make it odds on for renewal. That’s almost a 50% increase. For adults 18-34, last week’s rating is only 53% of the CW season average. That 0.8 rating needs to increase by almost 70% to put it in a range that would signal renewal.
For all her star power, I just don’t see increases like that being sustainable. For tonight’s episode, I’ll guess a 1.2 rating for adults 18-49, a 1.2 rating for adults 18-34, and a 1.5 rating for women 18-34, trending downward sharply next week.
I am being told everything is still delayed. Nielsen sent a note to its clients saying the cause was a power outage in its Oldsmar data center this morning. Everything is back up and running and Nielsen will process the data as soon as possible. Nielsen expects to send out another update at 4pm ET/1pm PT.
Will update you guys later. Busy work day for me in NV :)
im serious, is my masterbating over 10 times a day wrong ??
