TwitterTV ratings: 'Dancing,' Phillies lead the way Monday
Fast National ratings for Monday, Nov. 2, 2009"Dancing with the Stars" beat Game 5 of the World Series head-to-head Monday, but the game's strength at 10 p.m. helped FOX score an overall ratings win for the night.
FOX drew 15.3 million viewers and a 9.5 rating/15 share in households for the night, beating out ABC's 14 million and 9.3/14. CBS (11.5 million, 7.2/11) came in third. NBC (5.6 million, 3.5/5) took fourth -- although both "Heroes" and "Trauma" were up slightly -- and The CW averaged 2.2 million viewers and a 1.5/2.
FOX also won the 18-49 race with a 4.8 rating. CBS finished second in the demographic with a 3.9, ahead of ABC's 3.0. NBC scored a 2.0 and The CW a 1.0.

I see that CBS's weak Monday night programming is beginning to suffer. One can only take so many years of Charlie Sheen's sexist rantings. Won't be long until the hottie Jay Leno rules the 10:00 hour, he's gaining on CSI and Castle.
Once the baseball is over Fox will begin its slow decline, which I predict will end up this season with the demise of American Idol, despite the best efforts of Fox's Street Teamers. I wish Fox would just bring over O'Reilly and Hannity for primetime, it's my kind of programming.

The uptick for "Heroes" and "Trauma" are mostly because the New Orleans NBC affiliate aired the "Monday Night Football" telecast. The CBS station in Atlanta also aired the game, which explains the slight bump for "HIMYM" and "Accidentally on Purpose" too.

Fake Rena, are you for real? CBS's week Monday night lineup? Really!!! Come rerun time, CBS is the only network that has any ratings. Your buddies at ABC are pathetic. Dancing with Stars is an old person's show (and you say that CBS is for old folks). Jay's ratings are getting worse and worse, this month they will be at their lowest (sweeps!). Once Dancing ends, goodbye ABC. As for Fox, they have the best show on tv hands down... HOUSE. Stick with your pathetic ABC shows (the only show I watch on ABC is Modern Family). CBS is still the best run network, no question.
Look like ABC bonified hit DWTS and CASTLE are killing reality programming on fox. Sorry poeple want more substance thatn a bunch of grown men running around playing ball... its like BORING. CBS comides are stupid too, compraed to ABC weds line up, its like why watch unfunny cbs mionday line up. Did nbc even have programming on, LOL... POOR networth, it will be gone soon, or after CW esp once heather return nov 17th. V will kill the competition tonight. its another bonified hit already with EW giving it a V+... No wonder ABC gave up footbool and moved it to ESPN, with DWTS bringing NFL number who needs reality programing, when thye can have smart programming on Mondays. CASTLE is a tour de france in the ratings, its a much better sohw than the boring CSI mimi... No wonder mimi is droping in the rating... Did nbc even have programing on last night... sad,how nbc is the new cw.
