TwitterTV Ratings: CMAs sing for ABC Wednesday
Fast National ratings for Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009The 43rd Annual CMA Awards stole the show Wednesday night for ABC, taking the ratings and demo race handily since FOX lost its World Series juice when it ended last week.
Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley and more gave ABC first place to the tune of 16.8 million viewers and a 10.1 rating/16 share in households. CBS was in second with 11.3 million viewers and a 7.1/11, followed by NBC (6.7 million, 4.5/7), FOX (6.4 million, 3.9/6) and The CW (2.2 million, 1.5/2).
The coveted adult 18-49 demo title also went to ABC with a 5.2, still well ahead of CBS' 3.1, FOX's 2.7, NBC's 2.0 and of course The CW's 1.0.

CBS: "Old Christine" (7.6 million, 4.8/8)/"Gary Unmarried" (7.7 million, 4.7/7)
NBC: "Mercy" (6.8 million, 4.4/7)

NBC Reality program suffers again and Glee will soon be the number 1 show. Of courze ABC wins with Akademy awards, no one ever beats that show. CBS old tired sitcomes fail as usual.
Good one fake MEOW. GLEE is boring and stupid, the last great musical made was Evita. ABC did great, I guess program hill billy stuff and the CBS viwers will flock over!... Sad how people just dont get trendy programming like cougar town and ugly betty.
Nice tri Fake Meows. Lots of Coutrie music fans out there. That is why it was number 1 last night. I actualy LOVE the Glee show.

The 43rd annual CMA Awards dominated the night for ABC leading it to victory in all the major advertising demographics averaging a 5.2/14 (rating/share) with adults 18-49 and 16.85 million viewers. It was the most-watched CMA Awards since 2005, and the biggest audience for an ABC Wednesday (excluding sports) since 9/21/05. It was also ABC’s best Wednesday night with adults 18-49 (excluding sports) since 11/17/07.

Its funny, the only way ABC can win the night is with what MEOW calls stupid reality programing. But then again Country Music is the best anyway so no wonder ABC won.
Good one fake MEOW, but have a college degree here, a bf and just did the gym for 2 hours in the am, so doing pretty well here. Youa re the one who is posting under my name thinking I will go away. As rena says, I will not let street teamers bully me...LOL. When is leno getting cancelled. Sad how NBC has fallen.
