The final performances of the season on "Dancing with the Stars" scored the show's biggest audience of the season Monday, leading ABC to a victory and helping the new show "Find My Family" and "Castle" grab decent numbers as well.

Also of note: CBS' "The Big Bang Theory" hit an all-time high in viewers and surpassed the audience for its lead-in, "Two and a Half Men," for the first time.

ABC pulled 15.9 million viewers and a 10.1 rating/16 share in households for the night. CBS (11.9 million, 7.3/11) finished second, and FOX took third with 9.6 million viewers and a 5.7/8. NBC (5 million, 3.1/5) was a fairly distant fourth, and The CW (1.3 million, 0.9/1) trailed with a night of reruns.

CBS captured the demographic crown, drawing a 4.0 rating among adults 18-49. FOX came in second with a 3.6, followed by ABC at 3.4. NBC drew a 1.8 in the demo and The CW a 0.6.

Best show on TV ever DWTS rocks, no other show compars. Tonights ratings will be throu the roof, you see. Don't know whey other nets even exist. Gossip girl rocks too, I pretty much lead that life, its kind of an autobirgography, don't know whey anyone doesn't watch that stuff. Off to yoga, go for it all you fake MEOW losers.

I'm interested to see how well Castle does on its own, once DWTS has its finale. I think enough people like it that it'll do well, plus it has a full season. Find My Family, on the other hand, is just awful, and it needs to go away, or be put on Lifetime where weep-fests like this belong.

Amazing numbers by Big Bang Theory, which has finally grown on me. It's the only sitcom I watch regularly this season, and I've come to like it rather much. I still don't like the sitcom format in general, but at least this one is different enough to maintain my interest.

I would slam NBC's atrocious numbers on Monday nights, but it would be too much like kicking puppies, so I'll keep it to myself.

Trauma gets cancelled but nobody talks about Heroes which actually does worse. Heroes has to be the lowest rated prime time show among the Big 4 (outside of Leno) and is expensive. Don't see how this show can continue beyond this year. It's ratings are at an all time low.

The Big Bang Theory actually beat Two and a Half Men. Impressive.

Haha sorry but this is my very first post on this site, but Ive been a lurker for a long time and thought the name would be funny! :P Anyways the reason I am posting is mainly that I was suprised to see that "The Big Bang Theory" actually beat "Two and a Half Men" last night--anyone else suprised by this?? I do believe that is a first, and hopefully not the last, since Big Bang is just a much better, much funnier show imho. It goes beyond its "nerdy niche" often and does it quite well, whereas "2.5 Men" seems content to rely on its sex and fart jokes, rarely going beyond its comfort zone. I also feel a little bad for "Lie to Me" because it has been facing some overwhelming odds in its timeslot. I have a feeling that show would possibly rule some other nights in its timeslot if it wasnt always facing juggernauts like DWTS & 2.5 Men. Its not a bad show once you give it a chance, especially for something I initially just considered as weak counter programming. So what do you guys think of those two topics (BBT beating 2.5M & L2M vs. new timeslots)?

Heroes does well in the 18-49, over 100,000 family income group so it will not be canceled at the end of this year.

oops forgot the $100,000

ABC did great. Nice to see how well CASTLE is holding and how compatable it is with DWTS. Thanks for the first post fake MEOW. You are a LOSER. I do yoga in the afternoons. By the way, 10-11pm: Achieving season-highs, ABC’s Castle bested NBC’s Jay Leno in the 10 o’clock hour by 6.0 million viewers (10.5 million vs. 4.5 million) and by 93% in Adults 18-49 (2.7/7 vs. 1.4/4). In fact Castle earned its highest Adult 18-49 number in nearly 7 months and matched its biggest audience in more than 8 months – since 5/4/09 and 3/16/09, respectively. Castle greatly improved the hour year to year for ABC, over an original Boston Legal on the year-ago night, by 2.3 million viewers and by 29% in Adults18-49 (8.2 million and 2.1/6 on 11/24/08). Great patern going on for CASTLE.

ABC bled off 9 million viewers @ 9:30 ... a few headed to TBBT and gave it a larger audience than THM ... no biggie and good for TBBT.

What were Jay's numbers? Does it really matter?

Where were all the hip young folk last night? Looks like it wasn't ABC ... all the old farts moved their creaky butts from CBS to watch a dancing show ... interesting

Original MEOW back folks, obviously second one is a fake, I never put actual stats in my postings. Anyway, just wanted to calrifry before I leave for yoga. Laterz...

Whoops - Leno's audience was 4.5 mill last night. Missed that in my haste earlier; adding to the main post now.
