Twitter'The Back-Up Plan': Alex O'Loughlin, Jennifer Lopez on stroller duty
"The Back-Up Plan" doesn't hit theaters until April, and the movie's official site doesn't have a trailer up yet, but you can see a little snippet of the film right now.The footage -- of stars Jennifer Lopez and Alex O'Loughlin in New York -- comes courtesy of a YouTube user who managed to get on set and sneak a peek at filming. As for what's going on? Well, what you see is pretty much what you get: The couple walk down a Manhattan street with a pair of strollers, come to the steps of a brownstone and hug.
And, we're sorry to report for O'Loughlin fans, the "Three Rivers" star keeps his shirt on for the duration of the brief video (although certainly not for the whole movie).
"The Back-Up Plan" stars Lopez as a woman who decides to undergo artificial insemination, then meets a great guy (O'Loughlin) right after having the procedure done. Rom-com complications ensue. It's scheduled for release on April 16, and may or may not include the following take.

Love Alex O'Loughlin with shirt or without! Such a gorgeous man! From all the stills and raw footage like this one, I think this movie will be a hit. Can't wait for it to be released in U.S. theaters April 16, 2010.
When CBS mistreated and made fun of Moonlight viewers I promised I would never put my money or time in CBS. I have never watched a second of Three Rivers and I won't watch this movie.If Alex ever does some work with others than CBS I'll be happy to watch. All those shirtless comments are pathetic. I think Alex is a talented actor and all that droolin , specially from old woman is just gross.
Excuse me Rose, I am not an old woman. I happen to be in my prime! Your myopic (read narrow) view of what you consider support for Alex O'Loughlin has been over-shadowed by a particular anger at not getting the show that you want. You could be proactive and work for a Moonlight movie by writing to WB. Instead you simmer and sulk. Insulting other Alex O'Loughlin fans insinuates that you are a better "fan" to O'Loughlin, implying younger is better. I'm offended by your remarks and wish that you would keep them to yourself in the future.
The clip looks cute and all I have heard about the movie so far is positive and exciting. Both Alex and JLo look absolutely gorgeous, but no surprise there. And btw, for what it's worth, I'm guessing Alex would consider a person his fan, no matter what their age or preferences regarding his attire, only IF they were willing actually to watch his projects, regardless of who the producers were.
really loved AOL in Moonlight, but i have to admit that this movie looks like it's gonna be a BIG BOMB. sorry Alex....
Thank you Natalie for your comment! I totally agree with you. Alex deserves our support in anything that he does. As a fan of Alex, I will always follow him and support him in all of his endeavors. The Back-Up Plan will gain Alex the worldwide recognition that he deserves. It really looks like an awesome movie! I will watch it, I am sure... many times over and over again.
This movie is going to be so cute - can't wait to see Alex on the big screen again. If Alex is in it? It has to be great. Love Alex and all that he does.
I think this same story has been used more than once before. Even in just made for TV movies. And Jennifer Lopez's last movies didn't do that well .I am sorry, but ,I don't have great hopes for this one.Probably just a C+ Movie.
What a cute scene! This movie has all the makings of a great romantic comedy. Alex O'Loughlin and Jennifer Lopez have great on screen chemistry, the script is hilarious, and the director, Alan Poul, is top notch. April 16, 2010 can't come fast enough for me.
I cannot wait for this movie! It's already getting some good buzz from early screenings! Alex is so adorable and has a great sense of humor, so he'll rock this!
